The Jenison Historical Society presents the Blissveldt Romance movie, a 23-minute melodrama with local Grand Rapids, Michigan actors and locations. Filmed over the course of three days in late-August 1915. The production features some local landmarks that are still recognizable nearly one hundred years later.

The Local History Room is staffed by members of the Jenison Historical Association and can be accessed on Wednesday from 11AM-1PM. Volunteers can help you with local history and genealogical research. The room can be accessed by using the stairs to the lower level (past the vending machines) or the elevator in the Township Office.
