March 23, 2019, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Georgetown Township Public Library
While the origami crane is the most well known and beloved of the Japanese paper folds, there are dozens of traditional models that are appropriate for folders of all ages and experience levels. In this class, artist Stacie Tamaki will teach several beginner level folds. Each attendee will leave with finished models to take with them as well as the ability to recreate them. Authentic origami paper from Japan will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own paper as well. See www.tinygami.com for more about the artist and examples of her work.
Registration required. Children of all ages are welcome to attend but any child under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
