Jim is currently serving his third term as Township Supervisor. His roots are right here having resided in the Jenison/Grandville area all of his life. He and his wife, Sheila, have been married since 1988 and enjoy raising their 8 children in the Township. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and of Taylor University and has worked as a business law and civil litigation attorney since 1994 starting with a large firm in Grand Rapids and eventually breaking off to start a smaller specialty practice.
Jim volunteers and serves on various boards and committees and enjoys contributing both in his local church and at his kids’ school. He has also enjoyed coaching many youth sports. He and his wife love to camp and their travels include all 50 states. He hopes to grow old right here in the Township.
